Rugadh Rebecca Peart i mBáile Átha Cliath. Dhéan sí staidéar ar an bpéintéireacht agus ar dhéanamh priontaí ag Coláiste Ealaíne Crawford i gCorcaigh ó 1986 go 1989 agus ghlac sí páirt i gclár mhalartú mac léinn ag Ollscoil Uladh, Béal Feirste i 1989. Tá ábhar taispeánta aici ar fud na hÉireann ar a haonair agus mar pháirt de thaispeántaisí grúpa.

Taispeánadh a cuid go rialta ag an Bruton Street Gallery, Londain agus ag 15 Collingham Gardens ó 1997 i leith. Bhain sí gradam measúil an ‘Victor Treacy Award’ sa bhliain 1994 ag Gailearaí de Buitléir, Caisleán Chill Chainnigh. Tá a cuid oibre le fáil i mbailiúcháin poiblí (Irish Life, Roinn an Airgeadais, BÁC, Tithe an Rialtais, BÁC agus Coláiste na hOllscoile, Corcaigh) agus bailiúcháin phríobháideacha in Éirinn, Sasana, An tSualainn, Hong Kong agus Stáit Aontaithe Meiriceá.

Rebecca Peart was born in Dublin. She studied painting and printmaking at the Crawford College of Art, Cork from 1986 – 1990 and took part on a student exchange program at the University of Ulster, Belfast in 1989. She has exhibited throughout Ireland in both group and solo exhibitions.

Her work has been shown regularly at the Bruton Street Gallery, London and at 15 Collingham Gardens since 1997. She was awarded the prestigious ‘Victor Treacy Award’ in1994 at the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny Castle. Her work features in public collections (Irish Life, Department of Finance, Dublin; Government Buildings, Dublin; and University College Cork) and with collectors in Ireland, England, Germany, Sweden, Hong Kong and the United States of America.
